Len is a professor in English and Literacies Education at the University of New England, Armidale, Australia.

He is also the coordinator of the Research in English and Multiliteracies Education team.

Research interests include: Literacy education from pre-school to matriculation; children's and adolescents' literature and literacy development; and e-literature for children and adolescents.
