Deborah is an Associate Professor and has taught in a range of inclusive and multicultural settings in New Zealand and in the U.K.
Her primary teaching background gives her a particular interest in children's learning and development, including gifted children and those with special needs.
Her doctoral study focussed on collaborative problem-solving and her other research interests include curriculum integration, creativity and spirituality in secular education.
In 2007 She was awarded a Beeby fellowship (NZCER with UNESCO) to develop a resource for enhancing learning in the arts. |
