Sue Halsey

Sue Halsey came to teaching later in life and quickly developed an affinity for young children and an interest in their development as readers and writers.

She has had experience as a literacy Leader and Reading Recovery teacher and is currently enjoying being back in the classroom with enthusiastic five year olds.

Postgraduate studies which gained her a PGDipEd,LangLitEd were focused towards reading intervention programmes, finding ways to powerfully integrate ICT as a tool to enhance literacy teaching and learning, and best practice in literacy teaching. She continues to seek new ways to meet the needs of our diverse range of learners.
