ill Green is Strategic Research Professor and Professor of Education at Charles Sturt University, New South Wales.

He is located in the School of Teacher Education on the Bathurst Campus. Originally a secondary English teacher, he has a longstanding research and scholarly interest in English teaching and the English subjects, with a particular focus on English curriculum history.

His publications include the edited volumes: The insistence of the letter: Literacy studies and curriculum theorizing (1993), Teaching the English subjects: Essays on English curriculum history and Australian schooling (1996) and Designs on learning: Essays on curriculum and teaching by Garth Boomer (1999).

He has also wrtten extensively on literacy and technology.
