Elizabeth Friese

Elizabeth Friese is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at the University of Georgia.

Her background is in school librarianship. Elizabeth’s research interests include resources for youth in classrooms and libraries, youth literacies in libraries, theoretical approaches to literacy and librarianship, and intellectual freedom in educational contexts.

She currently teaches courses in children’s literature and language arts.
