Scott Bulfin

I am a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Manash University where I study young people's use of new media and the implications this has for English and literacy learning across a range of contexts. My PhD study was related to a larger Australian Research Council Discovery Project, called Being Digital in School,Home and Community. The chief investigator was Ilana Snyder (who was also my doctoral supervisor). Before completing my doctoral work I was a secondary school English teacher. I'm a National Council member and Research Officer for the Australian Association for the Teaching of English (AATE). I have four young children and live in Bayswater amongst the factories at the foot of the Dandenongs in melbourne.
