Dr Christina Elizabeth (Christa) van Kraayenoord is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at The University of Queensland, Australia.
Christa is a former school teacher and has taught school in New Zealand and Germany.
Before moving to Australia she lectured at Waikato University, New Zealand.
In the School of Education at the University of Queensland Christa teaches courses related to literacy development and literacy education, diversity and inclusive education, and the teaching and learning of students with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Her research is in the areas of whole school improvement and teacher change as it relates to literacy and pedagogical practices, and students’ achievement in reading, metacognition and motivation.
She is the Editor of the International Journal of Disability, Development and Education. |
