Kang-Young Lee holds a BA in English and American/British literature from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and an MA in Journalism/Mass Communication Theories from the same university in the United States of America. He then achieved a PhD in English language pedagogy, especially ELT culture teaching/learning from Korea University. He has taught students in various colleges in Korea and taught native ELT teachers for TESOL certificate at Korea Nazarene University for many years. His research interests lie in the development of methods and techniques for teaching ELT pedagogy, ELT culture teaching/learning, and intercultural English learning/teaching, and testing and assessment. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, Korea. He is in charge of the general English education in the Division of Basic/Core Studies.
