Paul Tarpey

Paul Tarpey trained to teach in 1997 and taught English, Drama and Communication Studies in schools and colleges in West London for eleven years.

During this time he developed an interest in the history of English teaching in the UK, as well as issues surrounding classroom practice.

He is currently researching the collective Professional Memory of English teaching in the 1960s and 1970s.

Paul currently teaches on Education and Social Science courses at St Mary’s University College in Twickenham, West London.
