Carey Jewitt

Carey Jewitt is Professor of Learning and Technology and Deputy Director at the London Knowledge Lab, Institute of Education, University of London. Carey’s research focuses on the relationships between representation, technologies and pedagogy and the development of visual and multimodal research method and theory. She is a founding editor of the journal Visual Communication and her most recent books are The Routledge Handbook of Multimodal Analysis (2009) and Technology, Literacy, Learning: A Multimodality Approach (2008, Routledge).
