Anthony Partington

Anthony Partington is Director of English, Culture & Communication at the Parkside Federation, a community of schools in Cambridge, England, including the first school to be designated by the UK Government as a specialist in Media Arts.

Areas of interest: media literacy, developed whilst working in media relations for IT companies in London; narrative and the links between films, games and written texts; the use of popular culture within literacy teaching. Anthony has contributed to programmes about the use of video and computer games in schools for Teachers’ TV. He is a writer for Cambridge University Press’s School Shakespeare Series.
