John Gordon’s doctoral research focussed on children’s responses to heard poetry. His recent published articles include discussions of poetry in schools for Changing English and The Curriculum Journal. He is co-editor of the book Preparing to Teach: Learning from Experience (Routledge), and has contributed to a range of initial teacher education publications. He currently leads the English 11-18 PGCE/Masters course at UEA, Norwich.
