Lyn Dawes

Lyn is a senior lecturer in Education at the University of Northampton. Lyn has worked as a teacher in secondary and primary schools before moving into University education. She has undertaken research into effective uses of computers in Primary Education, and now focuses on the importance of teaching children how to discuss ideas with one another.  Lyn authors books for teachers, most recently Creating a Speaking and Listening Classroom (Routledge 2010) in which the 'Talking Points' strategy is introduced.
