Dr Kirsten Hutchison is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Deakin University and teaches in pre-service and post-graduate teacher education programs.

Her research interests include gender, language and literacy education, adult, family and community literacies, educational sociology, equity and social justice issues in education, pre-service teacher education and teacher professional learning.
