Christy I Wenger

Christy I. Wenger is an Assistant Professor of English and Director of Rhetoric and Composition at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, USA. Her research focuses on situating embodied writing pedagogies within the field of composition studies. Working at the intersections between the somatics of learning, contemplative practices, and feminisms, her research reclaims the role of the personal and the importance of lived experience for critical, embodied writing.
