Susanne Gannon

Susanne Gannon is Associate Professor in the Centre for Educational Research in the School of Education at the University of Western Sydney, Australia. Previously she worked for fifteen years as an English teacher and curriculum adviser in northern Australia. She has a keen research interest across diverse fields including English education, writing pedagogies, educational policy and feminist /post structural research methods in education. She is the current editor of the AATE journal English in Australia and co-edited Charged with meaning: Reviewing English (2009) with Mark Howie and Wayne Sawyer. She has published a number of book chapters and papers on aspects of English teaching, as well as other research interests.
