Gail Forey is an Associate Professor and Associate Director for The Research Centre for Professional Communication in the English Department at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
I’ve carried out research and published in the areas of written and spoken workplace discourse, Systemic Functional Linguistics, discourse analysis, language education and teaching development. I’m currently the Programme Leader for the Master of Arts in English Language Teaching.
I’ve been very lucky in my career to work and publish with some exciting and stimulating colleagues who have inspired me and the team to look deeply and critically at issues to related to language and education and language and the workplace. |
