Mustafa Bal

Having BA, MA, and PhD degrees in English Language and Literature, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Bal is currently the founding chairman of the Department of English Language and Literature at the TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, Türkiye. He specializes in Drama & Theatre Theory and Studies as well as in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies that cover subjects on British and Turkish (inclusive of Ottoman and Balkan backgrounds) literatures and cultures. Dr. Bal teaches British and American drama courses to senior students as well as foundational literature courses for freshman and sophomore students. Dr. Bal is also an editor of Epiphany, a trans-disciplinary academic journal of humanities and social sciences, which he co-founded in 2008.
