Don Carter

Don holds a PhD in English education from the University of Sydney, Australia. He has worked extensively in the field of English education in teaching, research, policy and through senior roles at state and national levels. His research interests include English curriculum histories, the intersection of Romanticism and subject English and creativity across the curriculum. His publications include Re-Visioning English Education: Imagination, Innovation, Creativity, (co-edited with J. Manuel, P. Brock & W. Sawyer, Phoenix Education, 2009) and The English Teacher’s Handbook, A to Z (co-edited with J. Manuel, Phoenix Education, 2009).
