Dr. Li-Yi WANG is a Research Scientist in the Office of Education Research, National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore. His Ph.D. looks into the transmission of professional identity of non-native English teachers in the context of teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). After joining NIE Singapore, He has extended his research interests to school-based curriculum innovation and education policy. He is also involved in work in relation to the pedagogical and affective needs of academically low-achieving students.
