Dario Luis Banegas

Darío Luis Banegas is an associate fellow at the Centre for Applied Linguistics, University of Warwick. In Chubut (Argentina), he is a curriculum developer for secondary education and teacher education, and coordinates an ELT education programme in Esquel. He is also an online tutor at a distance teacher education programme in Argentina. Darío is the president of APIZALS, a teacher association in Patagonia, and the founding editor of the Argentinian Journal of Applied Linguistics. He has presented at conferences in Argentina, Bulgaria, Colombia, Spain, Portugal, the UK, the USA and Uruguay. He has published in international journals such as Computers & Education, Educational Action Research, LACLIL, Linguistics and Education, Profile, and International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, and has co-edited conference proceedings in Argentina. His main interests are CLIL, materials development, action research, and teacher education.
