Teachers' work and professional identity: Living a contradiction on the margin

Currently in Victoria, the Government is spending
millions of dollars on the implementation of literacy intervention
programs in State Schools. This narrative explores a teacher?s
experiences as she implemented a literacy intervention program at her
school, when she was confronted by questions about its value, nature
and purpose, as well as challenges to her professional identity.
